Sister School Outreach

The Sparks hope to learn about robotics and STEM education at their eight sister schools in Argentina, Canada, China, England, Japan, Peru, Singapore, and Taiwan. The Sparks reached out to the principals or heads of STEM education at each of the sister schools. So far, the Sparks have received responses from Canada, England, and Japan. The Sparks were able to video chat with the students on the robotics teams in England and Canada. Because of the language barrier with Japan, the Sparks plan to take a different approach. The Sparks created a video with information on their team and the FIRST organization. They plan to add Japanese subtitles so that the video can be used in English classes at the school in Japan.
