The First Tech Challenge is a competition sponsored by FIRST Robotics. This competition encourages teens to become involved in engineering and to foster business relationships with their peers. FTC allows teens to learn about building, programming, outreach activities, and connecting with professionals. Teens are given the opportunity to learn the value of gracious professionalism and how it can be used to enhance the FTC experiences. They are taught to learn from others and help others succeed because the process is about learning and not about the winners.
