Catcher Mechanism

The catcher mechanism is used to capture ball and block minerals and deliver them to the center lander to score points.  The catcher mechanism consists of a 3D printed catcher and a 3D printed bucket on a linear slide.  The grabber is extended using a rack and pinion slide. On the bottom of the grabber is a lattice patterned net made of Rev Robotics surgical tubing.  The grabber is lowered on top of minerals to capture them through the net.  The grabber then dumps them into the bucket.  A linear slide lifts the bucket and and the minerals are dumped in the center lander.
